In addition to being one of the founders of EagleDream Health, Dr. Betty Rabinowitz is also its CEO.  Most recently, Dr. Rabinowitz, a General Internist, served as Medical Director of the University of Rochester’s Center for Primary Care overseeing clinical operations and population health management efforts for the university’s  employed primary care network comprising of 28 practices and 130 primary care physicians.

While at the University of Rochester Dr. Rabinowitz’s work focused on the use of data analytics to measure clinical  quality and outcomes.  From 2009, Dr Rabinowitz led the development of an innovative clinical reporting system which supported multiple  University quality initiatives, care management and gain sharing contracts.

Dr. Rabinowitz was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, later immigrating to Israel with her family.  She graduated the Ben Gurion University Medical School where she also completed a residency in Internal Medicine. She came to the United States in 1990 for a fellowship in Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine, joining the university of Rochester’s faculty in 1992.  Dr. Rabinowitz is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.  Dr Rabinowitz stepped down from practice and her leadership position in February of this year to devote her full time efforts to EagleDream Health.
